From the North - Leave the M6 at Junction 44 heading through Carlisle onto the A595 and continue for approximately 25 miles. Bypass Cockermouth and join the A66 heading towards Workington. Approximately 5 miles West of Cockermouth at the roundabout where the A66 meets the A595, turn right sign posted Great Clifton. The Old Ginn House is well signed and sits alongside the road running through the village.From the South - From the M6 Motorway. Leave the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith) and take the A66 West for Keswick, Cockermouth and Workington. Staying on the A66 by-pass Keswick, and Cockermouth. Approximately 5 miles West of Cockermouth at the roundabout where the A66 meets the A595, turn right sign posted Great Clifton. The Old Ginn House is well signed and sits alongside the road running through the village.
